Innovation and sustainability represent an inseparable pair for Manini Prefabbricati, ingrained in the company’s DNA and serving as the ‘guiding spirit’ for our choices.

For over 60 years, innovation has not only never scared us but has been the constant spur for our actions and energies directed towards experimenting through continuous research of new solutions aimed at improving building performance, with the ambition to create the prototype of the prefabricated building of the future.
Naturally, sustainability has become our second driver, aware that the energy and sustainable transition is an incontrovertible scenario and only those who have the tools to face it will remain competitive.

In Manini’s vision, the industrial building of the future will be self-sufficient, smart, and able to compensate for, if not eliminate, its CO2 emissions.

For years, Manini has been collaborating with Italian and foreign universities, even overseas, on research projects related to the study of materials and construction systems to implement the principles and values of sustainability that it has embraced. This has resulted in unique projects and realizations worldwide, such as the bridge built with glass fiber reinforcements (GFRP), an iconic infrastructure constructed in Sardinia.

Our commitment to more sustainable construction is recognized by the world’s leading engineering experts who have invited Manini to participate in the ACI Congress in Boston (the highest US organization in the field of industrialized construction) and at COP 28 in Dubai where we were called to report.

Our internet site is ‘carbon free‘, meaning it totally compensates for the CO2 emissions produced by its operation and maintenance (the so-called carbon footprint) through the purchase of energy credits obtained through reforestation in developing countries, as regulated by the Kyoto Protocol.

Manini Prefabbricati is a member of the Green Building Council Italia (GBC Italia), an important non-profit association that includes among its members the most performing companies and elite professional groups in the sustainable construction sector.
Present worldwide with World GBC, the network includes more than 70 countries in its network, thus constituting the largest international organization worldwide aimed at the sustainable construction market.

Manini Prefabbricati has voluntarily chosen to draw up a Sustainability Report since 2020 to monitor and certify its overall commitments on ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) issues, reaching to date the important milestone of 5 Sustainability Reports drafted and published.

In this case too, the company has acted as a pioneer, not only within its own field of activity, to spread the culture of Sustainability among its collaborators, within the folds of its organization, in its territorial area of reference, and among the network of selected external suppliers.
