Seismic Monitoring
The continuous structural monitoring (SHM) of Manini Connect measures the variations in stress of building elements subjected to extraordinary seismic actions, through a system of accelerometers and inclinometers. The data is promptly analyzed by a team of engineers to understand the actual response of prefabricated structures to seismic stresses, verifying any behavioral anomalies that may compromise the stability and safety of people inside the building.
Internal Relative Humidity Monitoring
Manini Connect verifies relative humidity through a sensor system. This is a factor that can decisively impact a wide range of production activities: from those involving natural raw materials such as wood, paper, or wool, to the most varied processes in the agri-food chain. The monitoring of different parameters, kept within expected ranges, will allow for improved preservation of easily perishable products and maintain a healthy environment.
Wind Action Monitoring
Manini Connect is equipped with anemometers that measure wind speed and direction, constantly providing data to the processing center. When the threshold identified by the project is exceeded, the system sends an alert, immediately managed by operators and communicated to the property’s representative. Manini Connect will provide the client with real-time alerts through a messaging service in the dedicated app if the thresholds exceed the established alert parameters.
Internal Air Quality Monitoring
Through its sensors, Manini Connect promptly identifies and signals any abnormal concentrations of potentially harmful substances such as carbon dioxide or fine particles. This is a significant aid, especially for companies that need to maintain stable climatic conditions for production necessities, even through forced air recirculation, for which it is essential to be able to monitor quality in real-time.
Roof Water Runoff Monitoring
Through a rain gauge placed on the roof and a system of capacitive sensors, Manini Connect monitors the correct water flow through the downspouts. If the amount of water falling on the roof does not correspond to that detected by the sensor placed inside the downspout, the system sends an alert to the Control Center, highlighting the presence of obstructions at the top of the downspout. Similarly, the level sensor verifies the correct disposal of rainwater into the sewage system.
Energy Efficiency
The lighting module is a system that automatically manages and controls its level and intensity, based on room occupancy and natural light levels. Easily manageable through both local touch panels and mobile and web apps, the module allows setting specific scenarios for different areas of the building, according to operational needs.
Internal and External Temperature Monitoring
HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) account for up to 40% of company energy consumption. This percentage can be reduced thanks to the dedicated system. Fully configurable based on specific needs, it can manage the entire system, both on-site and remotely.
Integrated Plant Management
The smartgrid module allows for complete management of renewable energy produced, used, and stored in the building. It is possible to measure instantaneous, daily, weekly, and monthly consumption. Moreover, by implementing appropriate instrumentation, the system can be installed even on older systems. Finally, the module can optimize energy-consuming loads based on different environmental conditions, maximizing the efficiency of the plants.
