Arnaldo Manini Receives the ‘Il Perugino – Artist and Entrepreneur’ Award
The founder and President of Manini Prefabbricati SpA was awarded the coveted lifetime achievement award at the end of the conference ‘Innovative Investments and Infrastructure for Competitiveness and Employment’, which featured among its protagonists the main players of the Umbrian business scene, with the presence of regional, provincial, and city institutional leaders.
Following a touching laudatio by Stefania Proietti, Mayor of Assisi, President Arnaldo Manini received the prestigious lifetime achievement award ‘Il Perugino – Artist and Entrepreneur’, yet another recognition of an already extraordinary human and professional journey, although still rich in prospects and projects.
The award ceremony took place at the end of the important meeting ‘Innovative Investments and Infrastructure for Competitiveness and Employment’, promoted by ANSPC – National Association for the Study of Credit Problems. The moment was enhanced by an evocative audience and the presence of the main Umbrian and provincial institutional figures. Those present witnessed the laudatio and the conferment of the recognition to Arnaldo Manini, along with whom Paola Severino, Rector of LUISS in Rome, and Adolfo Guzzini, President of Guzzini Illuminazione S.p.A., were also awarded.
Reading the award motivation was Ercole Pietro Pellicanò, President of ANSPC, during his introduction: ‘For having created and developed a company – Manini Prefabbricati – which, strong in a well-defined virtuous circle of innovations and achievements, holds a position of excellence in the highest and most qualified segment of the market. He, an ingenious entrepreneur and passionate operator, a ‘man of action’, has been able to transfer to the company the high social, human, and cultural values that have marked his life.’
‘I don’t deserve so much! But the joy of this moment, I assure you, is the most beautiful gift you could have given me.’ President Arnaldo Manini declared with emotion and pride. ‘I have always been fascinated by the figure of Pietro Vannucci: a multifaceted, lively, and innovative personality in some ways. I like to think that just as Perugino, an excellent artist, learned at a certain point in life to manage his activity as an entrepreneur, I, in my own small way, wanted to be guided in my choices as an entrepreneur by the power of beauty: attributing to the aesthetics of the product equal importance to that of performance, convinced that even the values and principles on which I founded my company are also beauty. And with the same ‘Umbrian spirit’, imbued with the culture of this land of ours, I too, as an entrepreneur, wanted to build my company as a work of art, lovingly mixing my colors: the red of passion, the blue of certainty, the yellow of the light of ingenuity, and the green of hope for an ever-better future to always bet on.’
